Hiring a Purchase Assistant for Abu Dhabi.
- To plan for purchases and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers, monitor and expedite deliveries as needed.
- To work closely with the Planning Department so as to ensure timely supply of materials to support operational needs.
- To support Engineering with requisition of material samples for sample submission to customers.
- To conduct cost reduction exercise on a regular basis.
- To source, evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure proper supplier selection.
- To hold regular meetings with various departments such as Planning, Sales, or Engineering leading to the timely supply of materials to meet customer's requirements.
- To meet any targets of performance measurements that may be set by the management from time to time.
- To manage and maintain relationships on strategic or critical supplies.
- To perform regular stock take.
- Bachelor degree holder.
- Should have previous experience in the similar role.
- Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must.
- Able to handle Mandarin speaking suppliers.
