Description

Hiring a Purchase Assistant for Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan for purchases and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers, monitor and expedite deliveries as needed.
  • To work closely with the Planning Department so as to ensure timely supply of materials to support operational needs.
  • To support Engineering with requisition of material samples for sample submission to customers.
  • To conduct cost reduction exercise on a regular basis.
  • To source, evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure proper supplier selection.
  • To hold regular meetings with various departments such as Planning, Sales, or Engineering leading to the timely supply of materials to meet customer's requirements.
  • To meet any targets of performance measurements that may be set by the management from time to time.
  • To manage and maintain relationships on strategic or critical supplies.
  • To perform regular stock take.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree holder.
  • Should have previous experience in the similar role.
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must.
  • Able to handle Mandarin speaking suppliers.
